[April 22, 2023]  LINCOLN - Charles “Chuck” Feese, 86, of Lincoln passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.

Visitation:  10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, April 21, 2023, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln

Service:  11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home

A Celebration of life will follow the services at the Lincoln American Legion Post #263

Obituary

Charles “Chuck” Feese, 86, of Lincoln passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.

Chuck was born on June 1, 1936, in Middletown, the son of Lloyd and Nellie Feese. He married Cheryl Kay Merreighn on May 25, 1979; she preceded him in death on August 28, 2018.

Chuck is survived by his children, Lisa (Gary) Ramlow and Randy (Lisa) Feese; his step-children, Crystal (Bob) Davis, Brad (Samantha) Worth, and Darren (Elaine) Worth; his 14 grandchildren; his six great-grandchildren; and his first and last love, Barb Wilmert.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his two brothers; and his two sisters.

 

Chuck retired as the supervisor of the Gas Department at Cilco. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed golfing with friends and family on their annual golf trip. Chuck also enjoyed watching racing, especially wing sprints.

Services for Chuck will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 21, 2023, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service (10:00-11:00 a.m.) also at the funeral home. Full Military Rites will be accorded by the Lincoln American Legion Post #263.

A Celebration of Chuck’s life will follow the services at the Lincoln American Legion Post #263 (1740 5th St, Lincoln).

Memorial donations may be made in Chuck’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or The Wounded Warrior Project.
