And the walls came tumbling down!

Thursday morning, Steve Goodman with Harold Goodman Excavating made pretty quick work of bringing down the mauve colored garage on North Kickapoo Street across from Latham Park in Lincoln.

The building has belonged to the city of Lincoln for years but was recently sold to a local company owned by Greg Patel and Joe Ryan.

The pair have multiple plans for the lot that will remain when demolition is completed, including, according to Ryan, a new Mel-O-Crème Donut shop with a drive-up window.
