To
help make Logan County safer, LCDPH will be offering free cable gun
locks and educational support materials to interested fair
attendees. The funding is made possible due to a partnership between
the Illinois Department of Public Health’s Violence and Injury
Prevention Section and the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs.
LCDPH will also be providing other items of value including free
COVID-19 at-home test kits as well as mosquito and West Nile Virus
prevention information.
If you are interested in becoming a community volunteer to assist
with response activities during medical or public health
emergencies, you can stop by the LCDPH booth to become a member of
the Medical Reserve Corp.
LCDPH will also be providing general service
information and employees will be on hand to answer questions or
assist with referrals to get the information you need. All free
giveaway items will be available until supplies last.
