[August 04, 2023]  ATLANTA - Angela J. "Angel" Baker, 51, of Atlanta passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023 at Carle BroMenn Medical Center in Normal.

Service:  Friday, July 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Atlanta Cemetery

A Celebration of Life Service will be held from 12:00 Noon until 3:00 p.m. at the Atlanta Christian Church (Gate addition)

Angela J. "Angel" Baker, 51, of Atlanta passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023 at Carle BroMenn Medical Center in Normal.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Atlanta Cemetery with Pastor James Haffener officiating.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held from 12:00 Noon until 3:00 p.m. at the Atlanta Christian Church (Gate addition).

Angela J. Baker (Welchel) was born on February 15, 1972 in Lincoln the daughter of James E. and Jean Patton Miller. She was united in marriage to Bevan Andrew Baker on June 11, 1989.
He survives.

Also surviving are her children: Dakota (Monica) Baker, John (Jessica) Baker. Five grandchildren: Graeson, Landon, Grady, Alyse and Emma. Her father: James E. Welchel, her mother: Jean Miller. One brother: Christopher (Gina) Welchel.

She was preceded in death by one son: Dallas A. Baker.

Angel attended Olympia High School. She was employed at Johnny's Buy Sell and Trade in Lincoln.

She was a member of the New Life Fellowship Church in Bloomington.
Her hobbies include thrifting, garage sales, and creating lasting memories with her family.

Memorials may be to her family in care of an account at the Atlanta National Bank.
