 Jay
is a young husband and father who recently discovered he has a rare
cancer known as Myxofibrosarcoma. The cancer began as a small
bump on Jay's upper arm, which was not all that concerning.
But when the bump began to grow quickly, Jay sought a medical
opinion and discovered he had the rare cancer.
The current treatment plan for Jay includes trips to
a specialized treatment at a hospital in Texas.
The Finchum Fighters is a local group of family and
friends from the Atlanta area and beyond that are working to provide
support both emotionally and physically as well as working to raise
funds to help out the family during this stressful time.
The fundraiser at the Country Aire is one way the
community can support the effort and show their love for the Finchum
family while also enjoying the excellent food offered all day long
at the popular restaurant.
