Linda K. Kirby, 80, passed away
August 10, 2023.
Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry
& Bennett Funeral Home. A celebration of her life
will be held at a later date.
Linda was born September 22, 1942, in Tremont, IL.,
the daughter of Warren and Mary (Bennett) Morrison.
She was a homemaker and loved her grandkids so much.
Linda enjoyed music, reading, crossword puzzles,
bingo, and loved Chinese food and McChicken
sandwiches.
Survivors include her children: Cherilea Johnson,
Doris Kirby, Charles "Chuck" Kirby, Cathy Burgess
(Ralph), Cindy Kirby, Chandler Kirby (Roberta), and
Charmain Kirby; grandchildren: Brittney, Amber,
Shannon, Melissa, Mikey, Kimmy, Natasha, Kiri,
Christine, Mindy, Samantha, Jonathan, Jeremiah,
James, Shawna and Candace; numerous great
grandchildren and great- great grandchildren also
survive. |
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Lee
Vernon Harris, Second husband Charles E. Kirby Sr., stillborn twins,
grandchildren Theresa Skelton and Jeremiah Burgess, and siblings: Leona, Edna,
Zelma, Helen, and Joseph.
Memorial donations may be made to Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home to help
with funeral expenses.
