[November 15, 2023]  LINCOLN - Steven “Steve” Charron, 57, of Lincoln, IL, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Belleville Memorial Hospital.

Visitation:  10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln

Service:  11 a.m. Saturday, December 9, 2023 at the funeral home

Obituary

Steven “Steve” Charron, 57, of Lincoln, IL, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Belleville Memorial Hospital.

Steve was born March 25, 1966, to Arnold and Donna (Carr) Charron. He married Laura (Coombs) Laughery on September 24, 2011. She survives.

Steven is also survived by his siblings, Lori Bleess, Terry (Clara) Charron, and Rick (Carol) Charron.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Steve loved his family, especially his dog, Daisy. Never meeting a stranger, he enjoyed traveling, attending concerts, and cruising. His most recent love was his 1968 Mercury Montego, gifted by his father. Steve’s wonderful personality and sense of humor will be greatly missed.

Raised as a master mason in 2010 at Lincoln Masonic Lodge #210, he served one year as Worshipful Master.

A memorial service for Steve will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. A visitation will take place one hour prior from 10:00am - 11:00am at the funeral home. Memorials may be made in Steve’s name to Lincoln Masonic Lodge #210.
