[December 01, 2023]  LINCOLN - Michael Todd “Mike” Chezem, 52, of Lincoln, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Service:  Celebration of Life 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, December 29, 2023, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Michael Todd “Mike” Chezem, 52, of Lincoln, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Mike was born December 29, 1970, in Aurora, the son of Lloyd and Linda (Hoss) Chezem.

Mike is survived by his sons, Timothy (Ayla) Chezem and Matthew (Emily) Chezem; one grandson, Teddy Chezem; and his siblings, Jeff (Pam) Henry and Lisa Henry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Christopher Chezem.

Mike proudly served in the US Army. He was a proud truck driver for the past 30 years. Mike was an avid Chicago Bears and Cubs fan. Most of all he loved his family and will be remembered as someone who always put others’ needs above his own.

A Celebration of Mike’s Life will be held on his birthday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, December 29, 2023, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
