at his daughter's home on Monday, November 27, 2023.

Gary P Cecil, 68, of Mt. Pulaski,
formerly of Lincoln, passed away at his daughter's
home on Monday, November 27, 2023.
No Services are scheduled at this time. Cremation
Rites have been accorded.
Gary Phillip Cecil was born on February 10, 1955, in
Lincoln, the son of Kenneth Lloyd and Ethel Viola
Holladay Cecil. He was united in marriage to Mary
Ann Laughery.
Surviving him is one daughter: Holly (Rick)
McGlothlin; two grandsons: Keaton Polen and Kyle
McEvers; two brothers: Donnie (Rebecca) Cecil and
Jerry (Sally) Cecil; and one sister: Carol (Barry)
Dutz.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one
brother: John Newtson, and one sister: Janet
Meredith. |
Gary had been employed by Meyers
Industries and later at Walmart in Lincoln.
His hobbies included building model
ships, fishing, and watching NASCAR. He also enjoyed
spending time with his family and close friends.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer
Society.
