The Mount Pulaski Honeybears will play for
third place tonight in the 7th Grade Class 2A State Tournament
at Riverton High School. The Honeybears (20-7) will play McNabb
Putnam County (20-4) at 6:00 p.m.
On Saturday morning the Honeybears defeated Paris Crestwood
40-15.
Ella Martin led the Honeybears with 24 points. Madalynn Olson
and Addison Deibert each scored six points. Reagan Titus and
Kaylee Cowan each contributed two points in the win.
On Saturday evening the Honeybears lost to Nauvoo-Colusa 34-29.
Ella Martin led the Honeybears with 21 points. Kaylee Cowan
scored six points and Addison Deibert added two points.
In tonight’s championship game at 7:30 p.m. Nauvoo-Colusa (24-1)
will play Springfield Calvary (27-0).
