This year the Grand Marshal chosen by the Logan
County Tourism Bureau was Joe Ryan. Joe, wife Michelle, and their
fur baby were driven in a convertible provided by the Railsplitter
Antique Auto Club.
The theme for the parade this year was “Deck the
Halls; Christmas Light Show.” Judges Melanie Blankenship, Gail
Apel-Sasse and Ron Keller were tasked with selecting the best
entries in four categories.
Winning the Best Float was Crossway Church.
The Tourism Choice award went to Copper Creek
Cottages.
The Kenney Fire Protection District earned the award
for the entry best representing the theme.

The Lincoln Community Theatre won the prize for Most
Creative.
Hot Air balloonist Seth Goodman gave a new meaning to
Christmas Light Show.
And of course, no Christmas parade would be completed
until Santa made his appearance. Santa caught the attention of
many of the children in the crowd, who would then follow the special
sleigh to the Logan County Tourism Bureau Visitors Center at the
Lincoln Depot.
