[November 29, 2023]  LINCOLN - Robert Lenhardt Jr., 71, of Lincoln, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.

Visitation:  1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, December 1, 2023, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln

Service:  2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home

Obituary

Robert Lenhardt Jr., 71, of Lincoln, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.

Robert was born April 27, 1952, the son of Robert and Marcella (Moore) Lenhardt Sr.

Robert is survived by his sister, Laurie (Paul) Libman; his niece, Amelia Libman; nephew, Sam Libman; and his many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Robert was a loving and dedicated son, brother, and uncle. After his father passed, he helped his mother with anything she needed until her passing. Robert worked for over 50 years with the
Ford Dealership in Lincoln alongside Jim and Matthew Xamis, where he was the Detail Manager, until earlier this year when he became sick. He was a loyal and committed employee.

 

Growing up, Robert developed a love for anything and everything James Bond. He read all the books, saw all the movies, listened to all the soundtracks, and collected memorabilia. Robert shared his deep knowledge of cars and old movies with his family any chance he could. He will be missed for his good and loving heart, and his quick wit with jokes to make a person laugh.

Services for Robert will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 1, 2023, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. Visitation will take place one hour prior from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at New Union Cemetery in Lincoln.

Memorials may be made in Robert’s name to St. John United Church of Christ or the American Cancer Society.
