A 32-yard connection between DeVito and
Wan'Dale Robinson put the Giants (5-8) deep in Green Bay
territory. Bullock's kick snapped a three-game winning streak
for Green Bay (6-7), which committed three turnovers.
New York's Saquon Barkley rushed for 86 yards and two
touchdowns, but a costly fumble at the end of a 34-yard run late
in the fourth quarter gave the Packers the ball back. Carrington
Valentine leapt over a stumbling Barkley without touching him,
then returned the ball 50 yards to the New York 36 to set up the
touchdown from Love to Heath.
The Giants grabbed their first lead with 11:22 left in the third
quarter, taking advantage of a short field after Green Bay's
Keisean Nixon fumbled a punt return. Barkley capped a
three-play, 31-yard drive with a 1-yard touchdown run that put
New York ahead 14-10.
Green Bay followed with a punt but got possession back after the
ball glanced off New York's Bobby McCain. The Packers recovered
at the New York 14 but only managed a field goal to trim the
deficit to a point.
DeVito was 17-for-21 for 158 yards and a touchdown while rushing
for 71 yards on 10 carries. Robinson had six catches for 79
yards, and Isaiah Hodgins snagged an 8-yard TD toss.
After gaining just 24 yards on their first two possessions, both
of which resulted in punts, the Packers capitalized on favorable
field position off a New York missed field-goal attempt to score
the game's first touchdown.
Green Bay covered 62 yards in seven plays and 3:51, as Jayden
Reed punctuated the drive with a 16-yard scoring run with 1:01
left in the first quarter.
Love was 25-for-39 for 218 yards and a touchdown. He also threw
an interception and lost a fumble. Green Bay's AJ Dillon carried
15 times for 53 yards, while Tucker Kraft had four catches for
64 yards.
