Shop the Logan County Genealogical & Historical Society for unique gifts this Christmas

[December 12, 2023]     Just in time for Christmas, the Logan County Genealogical & Historical Society has received a number of items which it is offering to the public.

Among gift items are framed and matted prints of the Logan County Courthouse and of Postville Courthouse by Artist Paul Norton. These are available in both golden and wooden framing.

A pillow featuring the Logan County Courthouse; the books, Sugar Creek Pioneers of Logan County, and New Holland: A Pictorial History 1875-2000, the 125th anniversary edition, and decorative Christmas ornaments from the LCGHS collection.

In addition, two items with imperfections are being offered at reduced prices. These are a framed Birds Eye View of the City of Lincoln and an afghan displaying Abraham Lincoln christening the City of Lincoln.

Golden Christmas ornaments available include all three Logan County courthouses,
the Lincoln Woman's Club building, the Earl Hargrove Chapel, the Arcade building,
Lincoln Rallies the People, Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, first 100 years; Lincoln City Hall, Lincoln Public Library, and the Lincoln College University hall. Also available in silver is the Middletown ornament. Each comes with a certificate of authenticity.

These items will be available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the LCGHS building, located at 114 N. Chicago St., across the street from the Lincoln Depot and Tourism office.
