[December 15, 2023]
Each year, the Eaton Corporation gives each employee
a gift to celebrate the Holiday Season. In preparation for the new
gift, they offer extra items from the previous year for sale to
their employees with proceeds going to CAPCIL’s Holiday Hearts for
Kids Campaign.

The
donation was accepted by CAPCILs Chief Visionary Officer, Breann
Titus, Community and Personal Development Director, Dea Welsh, and
CSBG Small Business Coalition Coordinator, Heather Cosby at the
Eaton Plant in Lincoln. The donation came in the form of $2,085 in
cash and will provide gifts for 42 children. Plant Manager, Dave
Clarkson said, “We are so thankful for what you do in the community
and are excited to be able to make this donation.”
Donations were collected for Holiday Hearts for Kids
through December 4, 2023, with a total of 81 children receiving
gifts this year. Gifts are purchased by CAPCIL staff, wrapped by
volunteers, and delivered by staff to families in time for
Christmas. Once a family is nominated for Holiday Hearts for kids, a
gift for each child (up to age 15) in the family receives a gift
($50 value).
