Ken was born April 25, 1970, in Pekin, IL., the son
of Ronald Wesley Hutchison and Diane (Langenbahn)
Hutchison. He married Michele "Shelley" Shinall on
August 3, 2013. He proudly served his country in the
United States Army Guard.
Ken was a hard worker with a never quit attitude. He
was a one-of-a-kind man with a great personality and
a joy for life, even though he struggled with heart
issues. Spending time with his family was his
greatest joy. He was proud to be HVAC certified. At
one time Ken was the manager at Auto Zone. He then
worked at Caterpillar until his heart transplant in
2012. After his transplant, he tried to keep
working, but the doctors told him it was time for
retirement. He continued to serve his community as a
lawn mower repairman alongside Harold Stanton.
Ken enjoyed fishing, canoeing, camping, travel,
motorcycle riding, music, and drawing. He loved the
Lord with all of his heart and was an active member
of Faith Church. He enjoyed attending and helping
with Special Touch (Adult Disability) Getaways. |
