Obituary
Karen S. McDaniel, 68, of Pekin,
passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at her
daughter's home.
A Celebration of Karen's life will be held at a
later date. Cremation Rites have been accorded.
Karen Sue McDaniel was born on May 30, 1955, in
Jacksonville, the daughter of Lawrence and Della M.
Alexander McDaniel.
She is survived by her children: Diane Tangman and
Joseph Tangman; five grandchildren: Samantha Logan,
Aaron Logan, Tori Logan, Tyler Alsdorf Tangman, and
Braden Alsdorf Tangman; one great-grandson: Carson
Abraham; and one on the way; one sister: Tecia
(David) Hennessey; and one brother: Dale McDaniel. |
She was preceded in death by her
parents, and two brothers: Larry McDaniel and David
McDaniel.
Karen had been employed by DORS Home Health Care.
Memorials may be made to American Legion Post 263
Lincoln or the OSF Children's Hospital in Peoria.
Peasley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
