Lincoln Youth Wrestling Results from the 2023 Illini Clinton Challenge Wrestling Tournament

Lincoln Youth Wrestling Competed in the Clinton Challenge Wrestling Tournament Sunday December 17th, the result was as follows.

Tot Division (6 & under)
Champion: Jaxon Byrd
2nd Place: Malachi Constant

Bantam Division (Ages7&8)
Champion: Owen Crawford,
2Nd Place: Huston Manus, Lukas Martin, Able Whitted
3rd Place: Braxton Brickey, Latrelle Watkins
4th Place: Jessie McCain

Intermediate Division (Ages 9&10)
Champion: Keaton Parrish
2nd Place: Jayce Naugle .

LYW placed 8th in the team standings out of 27 Teams with 201 points. The host, Clinton Wrestling Club won the tournament with 283 points, Petersburg Wrestling Club finished second with 261 points, and Falcon youth Wrestling was third with 255 points.

Lincoln Youth Wrestling will be hosting a dual meet with Olympia Youth Wrestling Thursday, December 21st starting at 6 p.m. at Lincoln Community High School.

LYW will then travel to Dunlap to compete in the D/C Bolts New Years Bash Youth Wrestling Tournament Saturday December 30, 2023.
