- James “Jimmy” Johnson, 87, of Lincoln, passed away
on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at his home.

A memorial gathering will be held from 4 p.m. to 6
p.m. on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Obituary
James “Jimmy” Johnson, 87, of
Lincoln, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023,
at his home.
Jimmy was born July 3, 1936, in Sweetwater, the son
of Henry and Lillie (Tucker) Johnson. He married
Karen Freeman on August 27, 1976, in Lincoln.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Karen, and several
nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and
brothers, William, Henry, Charley, and Robert
Johnson.
Jimmy worked at the Bottle Factory in Lincoln for 45
years as a warehouse truck loader. He spent time
playing with his dogs and taking them for car rides.
During his free time he liked to go camping. Above
all, Jimmy enjoyed spending time with his wife.

A memorial gathering will be held
from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, December 28,
2023, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in
Lincoln.
Memorials may be made in Jimmy’s name to St. Jude
Children’s Research.
