- William D. “Bill” Rose, 90, passed away on
Thursday, February 9, 2023, at Lincoln Village Healthcare Center.

A private interment of ashes will be at New Union
Cemetery at a later date.

Obituary
William D. “Bill” Rose, 90, passed
away on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at Lincoln
Village Healthcare Center.
Bill was born on August 13, 1932, in Lincoln, the
son of Clinton V. “Shorty” and Mary F. Rose. They
preceded him in death.
Bill was active in several local and state Masonic
Organizations. He was a 50 year member of Lincoln
Masonic Lodge 201, AF & AM, Lincoln Chapter 147,
Royal Arch Masons, Lincoln Council 83, Cryptic Mason
and Constantine Commandery 51, and the Knights
Templar. He had received “The Order of Purple
Cross”, the highest award given to York Rite Masons. |
At his request he was cremated. A
private interment of ashes will be at New Union
Cemetery at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.
