Mason City's Arlee Theater announces change of date for Film Festival
Short film entries being accepted through February 17th

[February 16, 2023]    Community members and creators of all ages are invited to participate in a short film festival at the Arlee Theater on Sunday, February 26 at 7 PM sharp. There is no fee to participate, and funds from the event will be donated to the Arlee Volunteer Scholarship Fund. NOTE: this event has had a date change and will be on Sunday, 2/26.

Entries must be 15 minutes or shorter, and are due by 11:59 pm on February 17, 2023. All entries must be family friendly in nature, and filmmakers of all ages are eligible to participate. Live action, stop motion, and animated shorts are all welcome. Please email your submission to [e-mail]. 

Should a filmmaker wish to submit multiple entries, they are limited to no more than three entries totaling 15 minutes or fewer. Entries must be in .mp4 or JPEG2000 format; all entries will be converted to DCP in-house; should a filmmaker wish to have their converted piece returned in this format for future use, management would be happy to oblige upon request.

Details: The festival will be presented Sunday, February 26 at 7 PM sharp at the Arlee Theater. Admission to the festival will be by donation. There is no charge to submit entries. The Arlee is located in Mason City, IL. www.arleetheater.com
