Obituary
Mildred “Micky” Raffa, 90, of Lincoln
passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at
Lincoln Village Healthcare Center.
Micky was born on April 1, 1932, in Princeton, MO,
the daughter of Glen and Audrey (Branham) Alley. She
married John Raffa in October of 1953 in Moline. He
preceded her in death on April 11, 2003.
She is survived by her sons, Mark (Donna), John,
Doug, and Danny Raffa; and three grandchildren,
Hailey Raffa, Alexandria (Dustin) Dane, and Sean
Raffa.
Micky is preceded in death by her parents, husband,
and granddaughter, Katie.
Micky helped John for many years run
Raffa Chiropractic Clinic in Lincoln. She was an
animal lover. Micky volunteered at Holy Family
Church and was on the Board of Community Concert.
She was a good friend, who loved spending time with
her children and family. |
A service for Micky will be held at
12:00 Noon on Friday, February 17, 2023, at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln with
Pastor Bob Twist officiating. A visitation will take
place one hour prior to the service from 11 a.m. to
Noon, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow
at Holy Cross Cemetery in Lincoln.
Memorials may be made in Micky’s name to the Humane
Society of Logan County.
