Wilham February Senior of the Month at Mount Pulaski High School

Makenna Wilham, daughter of Aaron and Jennifer Wilham, has been
named February-Senior-of-the-month at Mount Pulaski High School. She
was selected for this honor based on the criteria of scholarship,
leadership, service, and character.

During
her time at MPHS Makenna has stayed actively involved in sports and
organizations. She has played Volleyball, Basketball, and Track. She
has also been on Student Council for 3 years, currently serving as
Secretary. She has also participated in Science Olympiad, Academic
Challenge, Yearbook, Pep Band, Concert Band, and NHS.
Makenna has maintained Straight A’s all throughout high school. She
recently earned her Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish.
Outside of school Makenna has done Trick or Treating for canned
goods and helped with Fall Festival and Christmas on Vinegar Hill.
She also works in housekeeping at Comfort Inn and as a Dietary Aide
at Vonderlieth Living Center.
Makenna plans to attend Valparaiso University in the fall for their
Physicians Assistant program.
