Barbara L. Aylesworth, 85, of Mount Pulaski, passed away on Monday,
December 19, 2022, at the H & J Vonderlieth Living Center. |

Cemetery in rural Mount Pulaski.

Obituary
Barbara L. Aylesworth, 85, of Mount
Pulaski, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022,
at the H & J Vonderlieth Living Center.
Barbara Lee Babb was born on April 1, 1937, in
Decatur, the daughter of Kenneth L. and Willa
Imogene Strickland Babb. She was united in marriage
to Charles Aylesworth on November 19, 1955. He
survives.
Also surviving are her son: Brad (Sheila) Aylesworth,
son-in-law: Frank Buckles, two grandchildren:
Bridget (Nick) Fleer and Brooke Buckles, four
great-grandchildren: Blake, Brie, Caden, and Frankie
June, and one brother: Rick (Pauline) Babb.

Barbara graduated from Stephen
Decatur High School in 1955. She was a member of St.
John’s Lutheran Church in Mount Pulaski.
Memorials may be made to the St. John’s Lutheran
Church in Mount Pulaski.
Burial will be at a later date in Steenbergen
Cemetery in rural Mount Pulaski.
Peasley Funeral Home is assisting the family with
arrangements.
