State Bank of Lincoln, a Division of Heartland Bank
and Trust Company, announces the promotion of David Irwin as Senior
Vice President and Senior Lender. Irwin is located at the bank’s
Broadway branch located at 508 South Broadway Street.
Irwin has nearly 20 years of banking experience, working in many
lending and farm management positions. He holds a Bachelor of
Science degree in Agriculture Production from Illinois State
University. He also attended the Graduate School of Banking in
Madison, Wisconsin. Irwin currently sits on the board for Lincoln
Memorial Hospital and the LMH Foundation. He enjoys volunteering in
the community especially at the holidays. He participates in the
Logan County Fair by facilitating music entertainment.
Originally from Beason, Irwin and his family make their home in
Lincoln.
“I was born and raised in Logan County and grew up on the family
grain and dairy farm that still exists today. I’ve enjoyed working
in the agriculture community in Logan County for the past 32 years
and look forward to many more,” stated Irwin. “With David’s vast
lending experience in the Logan County area, we are very excited
about him focusing on leading our commercial lending team in
Lincoln,” said Kevin Birlingmair, Senior Vice President at Heartland
Bank.
