Obituary
Margie Roos, 88, of Chestnut, passed
away on December 20, 2022, at Vonderlieth Living
Center in Mount Pulaski.
Crissie Marjorie Roos was born on September 21,
1934, in Lexington, TN, to James and Retha (Killen)
Springer. She married Alan Roos on May 1, 1954, in
Alabama. He survives her.
Also surviving is her daughter, Jennifer Meister of
Sherman, two granddaughters, Kayla Finley of
Lincoln, and Kendal Meister of Kincaid, four great
grandchildren, Karoline, Kaydence, Kellen and
Waylon.

She was preceded in death by her
parents, and one son Christopher Roos.
Memorial services for Margie will be at 12 Noon,
Monday January 2, 2023, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski, with Rev. Clarence
Rogers officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m.
to noon prior to services. Burial will be at Laenna
Cemetery in Chestnut at a later date.
Memorials may be made to either Faith Lutheran
Church or to Alzheimer’s Research.
