Lincoln Youth Wrestling Competed in the
Rochester Wrestling Club’s Meet in the Middle youth wrestling
tournament January 8, 2023, the result was as follows.
Tot Division (6 & under)
Champions: Jaxon Byrd, Cooper Johnson
4th Place: Talon Johnson
Bantam Division (Ages7&8)
Champion: Major Kopochius, Keaton Parrish
2nd Place: Colton Edwards, Mason Johnson
3rd Place: Lukas Martin
Intermediate Division (Ages 9&10)
Champion: Carter Johnson
2nd Place: Tatum Bateson, Jayce Naugle
4th Place: Preston White, Greyson Fisher
LYW finished 6th as a team with 177 points out of 18 teams.
Williamsville Wrestling Club won the tournament with 222 points,
Rochester Wrestling Club 2nd with 221 points and Monticello
Youth Wrestling Club 3rd with 218 points.
Lincoln Youth Wrestling will be sending a few wrestlers to the
38th Annual Jon Davis Kids Open in Springfield at the BOS Center
next Sunday January 15, 2023. This is a very large tournament
which draws well over 1000 wrestlers from all over the State of
