Anna Williams LTEC January Student of the Month

 

[January 12, 2023]  Anna Williams, daughter of Stephanie Henderson, was named January Student of the Month for the Cosmetology program at the Lincolnland Technical Education Center.

Anna is a senior at Lincoln Community High School.

Mrs. Danielle Meister, instructor, says that from day one, Anna has been a wonderful student to have in the classroom. She is willing to help others, ask questions, complete all work and she displays professionalism. “I have no doubt she will excel in this career. The salon she works for after high school will be lucky to have her. Anna is mature, respectful and always willing to learn and develop her skills. She will do well in this field, I wish her the best.”

Anna is a member of National Honor Society at LCHS, and the President of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America.

She has also been an honor roll throughout her entire high school career. Afterwards, she plans to attend Tricoci University in Normal and begin her career as a Cosmetologist.

Anna received $50 from the Kiwanis Club of Lincoln who sponsors this award.
