At the end of the first quarter, Illini Central
was on top 15-10.
By halftime the Cougars lead was 30-21.
At the end of the third quarter the Cougars lead grew to 45-32.
Illini Central defeated the Hilltoppers by a final score of
60-43.
Trenton Dietrich led Illini Central with 32 points.
Evan Cooper led the Hilltoppers with 14 points. Jackson Fricke
and Gavin Smith each tossed in 10 points for Mount Pulaski.
The Hilltoppers fall to 5-13 on the season.
Mount Pulaski won the JV game over Illini Central by a final
score of 50-30. Franklin Wade led the Hilltoppers with 15
points.
Mount Pulaski will host Midwest Central Friday night. The JV
game will start at 6 p.m. and the Varsity game will start at
7:30 p.m.
