Lincoln Arts Institute owners Jason Hoffman
and Marcia Cook have announced that the art gallery's regular hours
will be temporarily suspended.
The reason is that the gallery will be undergoing
some renovations over the next couple of months as the two prepare
for a new year that they feel will be "better than ever."

"We want to assure you that this is only
temporary, and we will be back and better than ever in no time. In
the meantime, the gallery is still available for rental for any
special events, and our popular kids' art classes will still be in
progress and available for registration," said Hoffman and Cook.
The Lincoln Arts Institute is located at 112 S. McLean Street in
Lincoln. All exhibits are free and open to the public, with
free-will donations graciously accepted.

Typically the gallery opens a new
exhibit with an artist reception on the second Thursday evening
of each month. That schedule will start in March. Exhibitions
include a rotation of artists from the membership of the Lincoln
Arts Institute and special guest artists.
