Mount Pulaski tops Clinton 60-44

The Lady Toppers hosted Clinton Monday night and with a solid performance the ladies knocked off the Maroons 60-44.

Mount Pulaski led 14-5 at the end of the first quarter and 32-18 at the half. Alexis Wade poured in 18 points in the first half.

Mount Pulaski’s excellent shooting carried over into the second half, where the Lady Toppers continued to build a lead. At the end of the third quarter Mount Pulaski led the Maroons 46-27. With Mount Pulaski making 11 threes on the night, the Lady Toppers were able to cruise to a 60-44 win.

Alexis Wade led Mount Pulaski with 26 points. Wade also had 4 rebounds and 5 assists.

Je’Na Rentmeister had 9 points and 5 rebounds.

Mount Pulaski improved to 18-6 on the season.

Mount Pulaski won a shortened JV game over the Maroons 17-10. Kenzie Chandler led Mount Pulaski with 11 points.
