The staff at Lincoln Daily News are excited about the number of entries we have received via email and our Facebook page for the 2023 Animal Stories Pet Contest. But, it occurs to us that some folks may prefer not to use the world wide web to enter the contest.

Therefore we are providing those readers with another option. You may mail your entries to Lincoln Daily News, Animal Stories Pet Contest, 520 Broadway Street, Lincoln, IL 62656, or drop them by the office at the same address. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to noon, and afternoons by appointment.

To make it easier still, click on the entry form above to get the larger version, print it, and fill it out to include it with your photo. If you do so, your pet will be entered into the desired category. You could win a $50 gift card from Farm and Home Supply in Lincoln if the pet is chosen as the best of the class.

There are five categories to enter; Cutest/Most Cuddly, Best Expression, Dress your Pet, Caught in the Act, or Best Non-traditional Pet.

Please include the name of the pet parent, the name of the pet, the category entered, and a comment about the pet if you wish.
