- James Dellinger, 73, of Lincoln, passed away on
Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Lincoln Village Healthcare.

Obituary
James Dellinger, 73, of Lincoln,
passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Lincoln
Village Healthcare.
James was born on November 3, 1949, in Fairbury, the
son of John H. and Irma (Mallory) Dellinger.
James is survived by his brothers, Roscoe (Sharon),
Paul, Calvin (Sherry), Lyman (Betty), John (Suzanne),
and Francis Dellinger, and several nieces and
nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two
brothers, Melvin and Marvin.
James retired from Lincoln Developmental Center
support service after 29 years. He was a member of
AFSCME union estate workers retiree chapter of
Lincoln. James participated in the Railsplitter Coin
Club. He enjoyed the stock car races at the
fairgrounds and loved to walk everywhere. |
A celebration of James’ life will
take place at a later date.
Cremation rites have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Memorials may be made in James’ name to the Humane
Society of Logan County.
