LJHS Trojan Wrestlers have busy week, winning six of nine matches

The Lincoln Junior High School Trojan Wresters had a very busy week, wrestling nine times; winning 6 and losing 3 duals; beating Peoria Notre Dame, St. Agnes, Pittsfield, Seneca, Shelbyville, and El Paso-Gridley.

The team lost to Quincy, Chatham, and Morton. Trojans record now stands at 17-8.

The next match will be at Mt Zion next Tuesday, January 31st at 5 p.m.

Going 9-0 was Cameron Bell.

Winning 8 matches was Riley Eilertson.

Winning 7 was Zack Eckhardt, Cayden Geriets, Seth Durbin, and Daniel Beck.

Winning 6 matches was Sam Petersen,

Winning 5 matches was Liam Whitehead and Anna Quisenberry.

Winning 4 matches was Alex Lacroix and Elliott Lynch.

Winning 3 matches were Braxton Eilertson and Eli Martin.

Winning 2 matches was Ryan Ried, Jude Snyder, Braiden Barrish, Hunter Henrichsmeyer, Colby Merriman, and Marcus Gile.

Wrestling exhibition was Brodie Glenn winning 9 and Preston Maestas winning 8.

The last home meet will be February 2nd wrestling Taylorville and Havana. Eighth grade team members will be recognized at that meet.
