Obituary
Patrick H. Walsh, 78, of Mount
Pulaski passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023,
at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
Patrick was born on July 6, 1944, in Lincoln the son
of Leo and Sophia (Hoffman) Walsh.
Patrick is survived by his children, Patrick M. (JoEllen)
Walsh of Mount Pulaski, Chris (Melinda Durchholz)
Walsh of Mount Pulaski, and Marcy Walsh of
Springfield, his grandchildren, Brady, Karilyn,
Alyson, Dylan, and Jonathan; two great-grandchildren
Blakely Farris and Brixten Shafer; and his sisters, Rosemary (Richard) Christoph of Racine WI, and Barbara (Ron) Sather of
McAllister OK.
Patrick was preceded in death by his parents.

Patrick was a devote catholic and
lifelong Chicago Cubs fan. He enjoyed conversing
with people and never knew a stranger.
Services for Patrick will be held at 10 a.m. on
Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at St. Thomas Aquinas
Catholic Church in Mount Pulaski. An evening
visitation will take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on
Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount
Pulaski. Burial will follow the services at Holy
Cross Cemetery in Lincoln.
Memorial donations may be made in Patrick’s name to
St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Mount Pulaski.
