Mount Pulaski celebrates Senior Night with 55-16 win over Bombers

[January 27, 2023]   The Lady Toppers honored seniors Hailee Daigh, Je’Na Rentmeister and Alexis Wade on Tuesday night before the game and then the ladies went out and annihilated the Argenta-Oreana Bombers 55-16.

The Lady Toppers rushed out to a 15-4 lead in the first quarter. Alexis Wade was responsible for nine of those points. Grace Davis poured in four points and Kenzi Chandler scored a basket.

A balanced scoring attack by the Lady Toppers allowed them a 32-6 lead at the half.

With everyone continuing to score from all over the court in the third quarter, the Lady Toppers were able to take a 45-14 lead over the Bombers and thus start the fourth quarter with a running clock.

Rentmeister and Chandler scored 3s in the final quarter and this helped the team to a 55-16 victory.

Alexis Wade led Mount Pulaski with 19 points.

Grace Davis and Kenzie Chandler each tossed in 11 points.

Mount Pulaski improved to 21-6 on the season.

There was no JV game.
