The Bruins had previously beaten WLB earlier in
the season by a final score of 34-31.
In the county championship game, the Bruins were ahead of the
Wolverines 8-3 after the first quarter.
The Wolverines made a comeback in the second quarter, led by
seven points from Hunter Clark and a three by Max Rohlfs. Bryce
Vlahovich also added two points and by halftime the Wolverines
were on top 15-13.
WLB held Mount Pulaski to just one basket in the third quarter
while each of the five Wolverines on the court shared the
scoring. At the end of the third quarter, the Wolverines held a
28-15 advantage.
The Wolverines went on to claim the county championship with a
36-28 win over Mount Pulaski.
Max Rohlfs and Hunter Clark each led WLB with 9 points.
