Power poles and
electric service were a big issue as part of the storm that passed
through Logan County around noon on Thursday.
As one can see from the photos, not the least of the big concerns
was a large collection of power lines that came down between Lincoln
and Atlanta right on Interstate 55.
Southbound traffic was impacted by the destruction.
Around the Atlanta area, there were several other examples of the
hit that the power poles took during the storm.
