[July 14, 2023]  LINCOLN - Ronald "Squeak" Bree, 74, of Lincoln passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023 at his home.

Service:  Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery in Lincoln

Family will meet friends at the Knights of Columbus Council #1250 immediately following the services

Obituary

Ronald "Squeak" Bree, 74, of Lincoln passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023 at his home.

Graveside Services for Squeak will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery in Lincoln. Military Rites will be accorded by American Legion Post #263. Family will meet friends at the Knights of Columbus Council #1250 immediately following the services. Causal dress is requested.

Roanld L. Bree was born on October 18, 1948 in Lincoln the son of Ralph M. and Marian R. Pfeifer Bree.

He is survived by his children: Tony (Lori Hopp) Bree, Todd (Amy) Bree, and Tara Bree. One brother: Ralph (Nancy) Bree. Six grandchildren: Trent Bree, Trevor Bree, Ryan Hillyer, Keaton Letterle, Myles Letterle, and Izabella Wilham, one great grandson: Oliver Bree, one niece: Heather (James) Oldani, and one nephew: TJ (Gretchen) Bree

He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepfather John A. Overbey, and one grandson.

Funeral Director

Squeak graduated from Lincoln Community High School in 1966. He then served in the United States Army. He received a Purple Heart Medal for injuries received in the Vietnam War.

He was employed as a union concrete finisher, then later in dietary at Lincoln Development Center. After LDC closed, he worked at Eaton, then most recently at Central School as a custodian.

His hobbies included gardening, fishing and golfing.

Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Squeak's parents, John and Marian Overbey, will also be laid to rest during the ceremony.

Peasley Funeral Home is assisting the family the family with funeral arrangements.
