City of Lincoln:
Fifth Street sidewalk repair starts Monday
Motorists asked to stay alert to traffic control signs

 

[July 28, 2023] 

Beginning Monday July 31, 2023, Lincoln Street Department Staff will start removal and replacement of sidewalk on the northside of Fifth Street at the 100 & 300 blocks.

During these operations there will be intermittent lane closures and traffic delays. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers, and it is vital to the safety of workers and motorists that everyone follow the direction of traffic control signs and personnel and if possible, use another route while work is taking place.

This will be a lengthy project that will proceed west to include the 500 & 600 blocks also.
