on Monday, May 8, 2023, at Manor Court of Clinton.

Obituary
Nancy H. Arthur, 77, of Clinton,
formerly of Middletown, passed away on Monday, May
8, 2023, at Manor Court of Clinton.
Graveside Services for Nancy will be held at
Woodlawn Cemetery in Clinton on Tuesday, May 30,
2023, at 10:30 a.m. with Mr. Maurice Stribling
officiating. Cremation Rites have been accorded.
Nancy Helen Mitchell was born January 2, 1946, in
Clinton, the daughter of Welby and Nancy Alice
Vinson Mitchell.
She is survived by four children: Rosetta (Andy)
Smith, Ruby (William) Scott, Bobby (Ava) Arthur, and
Mervin Arthur, Jr.; ten grandchildren; 12
great-grandchildren; one brother, Jerry (Enola)
Mitchell; and two sisters: Angela Mitchell and
Catherine Mitchell. |
Nancy was preceded in death by her
parents and several brothers and sisters.
Nancy had worked as a CNA at DeWitt County Nursing
Home and Crestview Nursing Home. She loved doing
jigsaw puzzles.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley
Funeral Home of Atlanta.
