Obituary
Sharon L. Martin, 75, of Lincoln,
passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023, at Memorial
Medical Center in Springfield.
A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday,
May 27, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the Peasley Funeral
Home in Lincoln, with Rev. Timothy Hankla
officiating.
Sharon Louise Eggimann was born on April 25, 1948,
in Hillsboro, Illinois, the daughter of Walter C.
and Amanda Sophia Muster Eggimann.
She is survived by her children: Jeffrey Martin,
Chris Martin, Timothy Martin, Duane Martin, Sondra
Wilkerson, and Susan (Patrick) Hunt; eight
grandchildren: Amanda, Tiffany, Kristina, Dakota,
Cyrus, Joyce, Tesla, and Angel; and seven
great-grandchildren: Autumn, Braxton, Jacob, Hunter,
Bella, Madison, and Isaiaha. |
She was preceded in death by her
parents, and son: David Martin.
Sharon graduated from Taylorville High School and
Richland Community College. She retired from Eaton
Corporation after 16 years of service. She most
recently was working at the Lincoln Walmart.
Memorials may be made to her family.
Peasley Funeral Home is assisting the family with
arrangements.
