Wheeler and Mitchell scored the first two baskets of the second half to extend Indiana's lead to 10. Chicago then went on a 13-3 run, including a pair of Copper baskets and an Evans 3-pointer, to tie the score.

The Fever made four free throws before the quarter ended to take a five-point advantage into the fourth.

Boston scored in the low post with 2:30 left for an 85-82 Fever lead.

Copper made 3 of 4 free-throw attempts to tie the score, but Boston scored on consecutive possessions around an Evans hoop to give Indiana an 89-87 advantage. Copper tied it again with an inside basket with 10.1 seconds left.
