Timothy C. Moos, 73, of Lincoln, passed away on Tuesday, May 30,
2023, at Springfield Memorial Hospital.

Obituary
Timothy C. Moos, 73, of Lincoln,
passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Springfield
Memorial Hospital.
Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, June
10, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery with
Rev. Joseph Dondanville officiating.
Timothy Charles Moos was born May 20, 1950, in
Lincoln, the son of William Franklin and Ruth Irene
Watson Moos.
He is survived by one sister: Kay Moos; three
Brothers: Daniel (Rose Marie) Moos, Jerry Moos and
Patrick Moos; several nieces, nephews, and cousins
also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one
brother: William A. Moos.
Tim graduated from Lincoln Community
High School in 1969. He retired from the State of
Illinois Department of Corrections. He had also been
employed at Lehn and Fink for many years. |
He was a member of Holy Family
Catholic Church, Lincoln Sportsman's Club, and the
National Rifle Association. Tim was an avid Cubs fan
and attended spring training for many years.
Memorials may be made to Carroll Catholic School or
the American Diabetes Association.
