Farris
is a 42-year-old mother of three who has worked hard and done all
she could to raise her family in a fitting way. She has seen hard
times, just as many have, but has met each challenge with grace and
determination. She is loved by her family and friends and admired
for her strength and courage in the face of adversity.
Farris was diagnosed in January with Triple Negative Metastatic
Breast Cancer. She is currently undergoing a six-month action plan
with chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
She was also found to have compression in her neck and spinal cord
and his a great deal of pain plus numbness in her arms and hands.
Battles with insurance coverage and other obstacles have made it
difficult for Farris to receive the medical treatments she needs.
Also she is unable to work and support her family.
Farris has three children, Madison age 22, Mason age 18, and Maelyn
age 10. She also shares her home with her mother, who has had her
own health challenges.
The family needs the support of the community in prayers but also in
financial support.
The fundraiser this weekend will help Farris, her
children and her mother be able to rest a little easier.
