Have double the fun with TWO Juneteenth celebrations in Lincoln

[June 12, 2023]    You are invited to a party! Come join us Saturday June 17th from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Scully Park for our pre-Juneteenth celebration! This will be a park party style celebration, so bring lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on.

Entertainment will include a live DJ, poetry readings, bouncy houses, arts crafts, contests, games. We will have a limited supply of free hot dogs. Attendees are welcome to bring a grill of their own.

Juneteenth a national holiday to commemorate the end of slavery in the United States, a cause definitely worth celebrating by everyone!! We encourage the community to come out and get to know one another. This is a family event, so bring the whole family.

In the spirit of inclusion, we also want to make you aware of another Juneteenth celebration on June 19that Scully Park from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. put on by the Hunt For Foundation. Two celebrations means twice the fun!
