Obituary
Donna “Marlene” Schrader, 89, of
Lincoln, passed away on June 3rd, 2023, at The
Christian Village in Lincoln.
Marlene was born on November 11, 1933, in Clinton,
the daughter of Henry J. and Leta M. (Linton)
Reinhart. She married Charles Wayne Schrader on
January 9, 1955, in Lincoln. He survives.
Marlene is also survived by her two sons: David (Donise)
Schrader of Tremont, and Randall (Teresa) Schrader
of Lincoln, her grandchildren, Noah, Wesley, and
Chris, and her great grandchildren, Jubilee, Eden,
Everett, Graham, Selah and Audrey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one
brother: Dallas Reinhart.
Marlene worked at WPRC, the Lincoln Chamber of
Commerce, and spent 31 years employed at Lincoln
College. She was a life member of the American
Legion Auxiliary Unit 263 of Lincoln. Marlene served
as past president of the Lincoln Auxiliary 263, the
Logan County Auxiliary, the District Auxiliary, and
the Fourth Division. She was also a Lifetime Member
of Lincoln College Alumni and served as secretary of
the United Way for many years. |
Funeral Services for Marlene will be
10 a.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday,
June 6, 2023, also at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at Zion Cemetery in Lincoln.
Memorial donations may be made to the American
Legion Auxiliary Post #263.
