Wolf laced nine aces and won 89 percent of his
first serves to oust Etcheverry in two hours and 39 minutes in
the final grass-court tune-up before the start of Wimbledon.
Eighth-seeded Miomir Kecmanovic of Serbia held off China's
Yibing Wu 7-6 (4), 7-6 (5) to advance.
Argentina's Sebastian Baez beat Portugal's Nuno Borges in
straight sets while Gregoire Barrere of France rallied to upend
Finland's Emil Ruusuvuori 3-6, 7-6 (6), 7-6 (4) in a match that
lasted nearly three hours.
Qualifiers Aleksandar Vukic of Australia, Marc-Andrea Huesler of
Switzerland and 19-year-old Frenchman Luca Van Assche also
posted victories to advance.
