Obituary
Denise E. Radcliffe, 66, of Lincoln,
passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at
Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
Denise was born on May 3, 1956, the daughter of
Harold “Leroy” and Barbara J. (Wilham) Radcliffe.
She first married Doug Baughman, they divorced. She
later married Tony Wood, and then later divorced.
Denise is survived by her mother, Barbara; sisters,
Janice (James) Greer, and Cindy (Jerry Miller)
Morrow; and two nieces, Meghan and Marissa Greer.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leroy;
infant son, Eric Lee Baughman; infant brother, Curt
Leroy Radcliffe; maternal grandparents, Cecil and
Louise Wilham; and paternal grandparents, Anice and
Clyde Radcliffe.

Denise first worked for Eisner’s
Grocery Store in Lincoln, later as a flight
attendant for Continental Airlines. She then worked
as a mortgage loan officer in the LA Area. Denise
then went to Surfers Paradise in Australia to work
as a pedicab driver. She returned to California
after and worked as a cocktail waitress and sold
realty. After, Denise moved to Bradford, England to
work as a financial advisor. Then as a real estate
appraiser and realtor in Tennessee and Florida, then
came back to Lincoln, Illinois. Denise enjoyed
traveling and meeting people all over the world.
Services for Denise will be held at 10 a.m. on
Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln. Visitation will take place
Wednesday, March 1, 2023, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Burial will follow the service at Steenbergen
Cemetery in Mt. Pulaski. Memorials may be made to
Denise’s family.
