Since August 2020, Zion Lutheran School has been
operating under interim leadership. We are grateful for those who
have filled in to help our school move forward during a pandemic and
all that came with that trying time in our world.

We are
also grateful to our staff who have worked hard alongside interim
leadership to maintain our one-of-a-kind culture and academic
excellence during this time of transition.
Since
the Fall of 2020, our doors have stayed open, students have been
able to meet in person, and we have even seen an increase in
enrollment. We are excited for the bright future God has ahead of
us!
In January, we announced to our current ZLS families that Dr. Steve
Parry has accepted the position of Principal at Zion Lutheran
School. We are excited to share this news with the Lincoln
community. Dr. Parry will be joining the ZLS family on July 1, 2023.
Dr. Parry is a central Illinois native. Born and raised in Peoria,
he attended a Lutheran grade school and received a B.A. in secondary
education from Concordia University in Chicago in 1990.
